Alex Rodriguez has been a long time ago advocate of music education. In 1984 he was a classical guitar instructor at Cepromusic. Then in 1985 he was an instructor of bass and arrangement at the Ars Nova School. He was appointed as a teacher for electric bass at the Jose Reyna School of Music, and since (2001-2011) Alex is Director and founder of PD & M Process Educational & Music where he teaches courses such as: musical language, guitar, electric bass, harmony, arrangement and orchestration. With his leadership, the institution has had highly successful experiences regarding the musical education of its students whose music skills are presented in the school’s annual concert. Over the years, in addition to his teaching, Alex has contributed to the development of children, adolescents and adults in the community.

In (2014-2015) is professor of the chairs of guitar and electric bass in Hope Academy of East Liberty, in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.
